How To Reduce Stress From Your Life
Start living a better quality of live by dealing with stress effectively
Your body can be frozen by stress, you find it hard to take action. Your body feels cold and there is a feeling of butterflies in the stomach.
The constant worry caused by stress has an adverse affect on the body. Stress leads to more stress, it’s a circle of negativity.
The best way to get rid of stress is by taking action. The feeling of fear is similar to the feeling of stress. You may be delaying in taking action on something because it brings on fear just thinking about it.
You can get rid of this fear by taking action, it does not matter how it resolves. As long as you take positive action the fear will be eliminated.
Some of our fears are based on our thoughts of facing a situation or taking to someone to resolve an issue. The longer you delay in taking action the more damage the stress will cause to your body.
List Your Problems
Make a list of all the problems that are causing you stress. Look at your list to see which of the problems you can take action on. Start resolving them to remove the stress associated with them,
Some of the problems will need to be resolved in sequence, as resolving one problem may require another one to be resolved before it.
There may be some problems on the list that cannot be resolved, or you may not have the skills or resources to resolve them yet. You should stop about these problems and start changing your thinking related to them.
If they cannot be resolved, stop worrying about them. I know it is easier to say than to do, but it will come with practice.
Get into the habit of listing your problems daily and taking action on them daily. You will not be able to clear this list as more problems will crop up.
I use an A5 notebook to list my problems and work on the daily. You can do the same or use notes/calendar on your laptop or phone. Use whatever method you are comfortable with. I’m a little old school and prefer hand written lists on paper. I find that this method works best for me,
As long as you know the problems and work towards resolving them, you will experience minimal stress in your life.
Your life will never become problem free and you will always experience some stress. It is a matter of reducing the stress it and keeping it at a manageable level.
Small Problems Will Disappear
Once you start working on resolving your problems daily, the small problems will not seem like problems anymore. You will have developed the skills and acquired resources to resolve bigger problems.
Minor problems in life will no longer bother you, they will not cause you any stress. You will know that they can be resolved easily.
You will be able to free up your time to work on bigger problems as the minor ones will get resolved automatically, as you will have programs installed within your subconscious mind to deal with them effectively.
The bigger the problems you get to solve the more successful you will become. You will start growing as a person and also attract opportunities to enable you to transform your life for the better.
Work On What’s Bugging You
Sometime we keep on avoiding the actual problem that is really bugging us. We tend to work on other problems. This is not going to pile on the stress. The longer we leave it, the more stress it will cause.
You cannot just bury your head in the sand and expect the problem to go away. You need to face it head on and take the appropriate actions to resolve it.
Start working on resolving the problems that will enable you to make progress towards achieving your goals.
There will be some problems that are not really problems. Resolving them will not help you make any progress towards creating the lifestyle that you desire. These problems can be felt out, it is not worth spending your valuable time in resolving them.
You will need to look at your list of problems and prioritize them. You can easily do this by putting the letters A, B, C, D next to them.
A - Needs Immediate Attention
B - Needs To Be Resolved Soon
C - Needs To Be Worked On Within The Next Month To Next Year
D - Can Be Put On Hold, Or Does Not Need To Be Resolved
Once you have categorized the using A, B, C, D… start prioritizing the A’s, B’s and C’s by placing a number next to it.
1 being high priority and subsequent numbers in sequence being lower in priority. You will have a list consisting of A1, A2, A3. B1, B2, B3… C1, C2, C3…
Start working on the A numbers in sequence, and then move onto the B’s and C’s working on them in sequence.
