Most of us are infected with negativity daily, as there is so much of it around us. Negative thoughts lead to more negative and a spiral of negativity starts to engulf us.
We can get rid of the negative thoughts that are occupying our minds, by using mental imagery. By getting rid of the negative thoughts, the underlying problems can also be resolved.
Bruce Lee’s Mental Imagery
The martial arts legend Bruce Lee used to write the problems that were bugging him on a blank sheet of paper and burn it. As the paper burned he felt the problems disappear from his life.
The interesting thing is that he done all this in his imagination. He imagined the blank sheet of paper, the writing of his problems and also burning the paper.
Brue Lee was a master in mental imagery. It is reported that he practices his martial arts techniques over and over again in his imagination until he perfected them.
“The enemy has only images and illusions behind which he hides his true motives. Destroy the image, and you will break the enemy.” - Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee studied psychology and worked on developing his understanding of how the fighters mind works. A large percentage of the winning or loosing is done before the actual fighting takes place.
Chuck Norris Takes It Even Further
Chuck Norris took Bruce Lee’s technique of eliminating negativity further by actually performing it reality.
He used to grab a blank sheet sheet of paper in reality and write down the problems he was experiencing and burn the paper. As he watched the paper burn, he felt his problems disappearing.
Chuck Norris believed in dedicated practice and discipline. His life is an example of what can be achieved through hard work and belief in yourself.
He focused on the positive elements in his life and worked on eliminating the negative to create the lifestyle he desired.
The Hawaiian Method
Native Hawaiians had a similar method of eliminating negativity from their lives. They would get a miniature boat and place it into the ocean, and imagine loading it up with all the problems that they were experiencing. As the boat floated away and vanished from the horizon, they experienced their problems leaving with it.
The boat was real, but they imagined loading it up with their problems. It was a mixture of reality and imagination to power up the process.
The Escape Goat
The ancients used to pile on their sins onto a goat and let it escape into the wilderness to take away the sin and evils experienced by their community.
They may have performed some rituals to pass on their sins and problems into the goat. As the goat escaped into the wilderness, they felt the sins and problems disappear.
The term “escape goat” may have originated from this ancient ritual.
A large amount of ancient magic rituals were performed by gathering up negative energy and problems into leaves and spices and burning, burying or floating them away into the sea.
My Thoughts On Getting Rid Of Negativity
We should stop focusing on the problems that we are experiencing in our life. The problems get bigger as they draw in the energy that is giving to them by focusing on them.
I am not saying that we should not acknowledge the problems that we are experiencing. We should focus more on the solutions than on the problems. We should focus more on what we want rather than on what we are experiencing (the problems).
It is worth using the above methods to clear the negativity in your life. The escape goat method may be hard to execute, as it may be hard to get hold of a goat. You can imagine the goat and pass on the problems that you are experiencing and let it lose into the wilderness using your mind.
You can use your mind to clear the problems from your mind. Once the problems have been cleared from your mind, they will eventually disappear in reality.
It is all about your thoughts and were you are focusing your energy. Our thoughts create our reality. If we are not happy with our current reality, we can transform it using our thoughts.
You will need to take actions to transform your current reality, but it all start with your thoughts. The mind controls and shapes the matter around, the non physical controls the physical.
Replacing Negative Thoughts With Positive Ones
It is hard to eliminate negative thoughts by thinking off them. It is easier to think of positive thoughts that can replace the negative ones.
Whatever you focus on will grow, just acknowledge the negative thoughts and focus on the positive thoughts that you want to replace them with.
It is not possible to watch your thoughts 24 hours in the day. Just make sure that most of the time you are thinking positive thoughts. Every time you catch yourself drifting into negativity, replace your thoughts with positive ones.
I know it is easier said than done, but you will get there with practice. If you have a strong enough desire to transform your life, you will find the energy to focus on the positive things that you want in your life.
Thinking of prosperity whilst you are broke is not easy. If you keep on thinking about being broke, you will stay broke. You need to switch from what is thinking to what you want thinking.
Your health may be in a bad state, you can only improve it by changing your thoughts and forming an alternative belief related to your health. You need to see yourself as a healthy person in my minds eyes for it to manifest into your reality.
It all condenses down to your self-image. Once you have transformed your self-image, your reality will transform to reflect it.
I am writing this post on Wednesday 10th April 2024. Lately I have been facing a lot of challenges in my life and have made a decision to face them.
In the past, I have been sweeping my challenges under the carpet. It is now time for a full spring clean, it is time to transform my life for the better.
I have been living in denial, I have now accepted to reality of bull sh@t life that I am living. I am fed up with living this hand to mouth existence.
I don’t know how I am going to transform my finances and my health, but I have made a firm decision that I will make changes.
I am currently working on my mindset and clearing the negativity out of my life. I know the plan for transforming my reality will come to me very soon. I am optimistic as I start on this journey, the path will appear in front of me.
I need to have faith and stay focused on the things that I truly desire.
