How Bad Do You Want It?

howbaddoyouwantitYou can use the pain in your current circumstance to motivate and drive you towards success. Most people are either driven by pain or pleasure.

You can choose to stick with the cards life has dealt you, or you can decide to pick your own hand of cards.

You don’t have to live your current lifestyle for ever, you can take steps to transform it to the one of your choice.

My Daily Routine

I wake up at 4:00 am and get ready for work. I leave my house at 4:20 am and walk to the bus stop to catch a bus to take me to the nearest train station.

I have to change 2 trains to get to work. There are only a few people waiting for a bus at this time of morning, it is still dark and cold.

Like most people on the train, I’m also half asleep. I only manage to get 4 hours of sleep. I work 12 hour shifts as a corporate security officer.

By the time I manage to leave work it’s already gone past 7:00 pm. I manage to push myself into the train. It is a rare treat, if I manage to get a seat on the train.

I have to wait for 20 to 30 minutes for a bus to get back home from the train station. I manage to get home by 8:30pm to 9:00pm. After getting changed and having something to eat, the clock turns past 10:00pm. I am already tired and have to get some sleep before waking up at 4:00am for another day of work.

I could do what most people do and get used to this dead end routine, but I choose to use this pain to drive me towards creating a better future.

I focus on personal development for 2 hours, for 10:00pm to 12:00am. Most of the time I read books, listen to audio programs and watch videos. I also try and post an update or article on this blog to inspire others and also keep me focused on my goals.

Every day of this mind numbing work helps me stay focused on my goals. This pain is driving me towards creating a meaningful future for myself.

I am only doing this work to meet my monthly expenses, it’s not my life purpose. I have chosen personal development as my life purpose.

I have already started to see small transformations in my habits and daily routines. These have provided me with a better outlook for the future.

Currently, I only have 2 hours to focus on personal development. But it’s on my mind 24/7, it keeps me motivated at work. I know that I will gradually move towards the lifestyle I truly desire.

I have had many barriers and life events that have distracted my personal development routines. I treat each barrier as a challenge and a test of my faith in my abilities.

The bigger the challenge I overcome, the better the reward has been. It has strengthened my belief in my ability to reach my goals and targets.

It is the middle of November, the days are short and the weather is getting colder. The weather will change, but I will stay focused on my goal of using the internet to earn enough money to enable me to leave my security job within 12 months.
